PROGRAMS
Rocket City Soccer Academy:
The Academy serves as the training ground for youth players with ambitions to play in college, the NPSL and other professional leagues. Players may remain with their current clubs and/or schools, but will have additional regular training sessions in a professional setting under the guidance of the RCU technical staff.
Ages 10-15 Boys and Girls
• June 2009 Applications for U15 and below Academy summer program
• Open Academy training Monday and Wednesday 5:30-7:00pm June 1st – July 29th
• Location: Madison County Middle School, 173 Wood Street in Gurley
• Trainings are open to any players age 10-15
• There is a $15 application fee to register for the Academy.
Partner Club Program:
SKILLS TRAINING
• Skills Training August-October for Club’s youth players
• 1 ½ hours per training session, minimum of 2 times/month
COACHING CLINICS
• Pre-season (August) Coaching Clinic
• Mid-season (late Sept) Coaching Clinic
• Summer Clinic – held at Partner Club night home game
SOCCER FESTS AND TALENT DAY
• Talent Day is a preseason evaluation day conducted by
RCU staff for Club’s players and coaches for coaches to
see players before player draft – ideal for U8, U10, U12 age
groups
